Incredible two piece 18th- early 19th century Continental tortoiseshell and silver collectors cabinet on stand or vargueno. Northern European- Likely Flanders. Amazing quality with tortoiseshell drawers, tortoiseshell columns, bronze capitals, silver and bronze mounts, scagliola flower inlaid decorations, and ebonized frame. The top consists of 12 exterior drawers encompassing columns and doors that open to reveal 11 interior drawers, bone and ebony "tile" floors, and a painted scene reflected as halls with mirrors.
